My name is Kathy Hopfinger, my brave Warrior is my son Joe, age 25, diagnosed with Metastatic Ewings Sarcoma on December 24, 1999. I am honored to be part of a committee of parents of children battling cancer, or who have survived cancer, in bringing families together for an evening of fun, fellowship and information. And a shout out to THANK my family and friends for their continued support of the Annual Holiday Survivor’s 3 on 3 Basketball tournament/Joe Hopfinger Family and Friends fundraising efforts over the last 13 years for Children’s Mercy Cancer Center and the Ronald McDonald House.
