Description
My daughter Mickey was diagnosed with a life-threatening chronic immune condition when she was 8 months old. She received a curative bone-marrow transplant when she was 16 month old. While still in post-transplant treatment, Mickey is a spunky and active 2 1/2 year old today! The journey of her transplant opened a new world to our family- full of brave & amazing children fighting for their lives, and the tremendous love & support required from their parents and siblings. I love that Every Day A Hero celebrates these kids and their families, and also introduces them to so many amazing organizations that wish to help and bless them.
