This is Brendan. At 6 months old Brendan became very sick. We believed he had a virus. June 25,2013 Brendan was admitted to Newton Medical Center for dehydration. He began having seizures and we were transferred to another hospital were we found out the he had a tumor growing in the center if his brain. July 6,2013 we were transferred to Children’s Mercy. 6 days later we got a final diagnosis. Pineal Pernchymal Tumor. We had many setbacks but Brendan finished treatments in April 2014. We are a year out if treatment and doing great! He turned 2 on December 2, 2014.
